Welcome to MF Catering Co. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, catering services, online ordering services, event services, and other products and services offered by MF Catering Co. (“MF Catering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a proposal or quote, placing an order, booking catering services, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

MF Catering Co. provides catering, food preparation, delivery, event-related, and related services. Services may include, but are not limited to:

Corporate catering
Private event catering
Weddings and receptions
Parties and celebrations
Special events
Food delivery and pickup
Custom menus
Beverage and food service
Staffing and event-related services when offered

The availability, scope, pricing, and terms of specific services may vary by event, location, date, guest count, menu, and other requirements.

2. Catering Inquiries and Proposals

Submitting a “Book Us,” “Request a Proposal,” contact, catering inquiry, or similar form does not guarantee availability or constitute a confirmed booking.

After receiving your request, MF Catering Co. may contact you to obtain additional information and provide a proposal, estimate, or quote.

Prices contained in a proposal or estimate are based on the information available at the time the proposal is prepared. Changes to guest count, menu selections, venue, service requirements, staffing, event duration, delivery location, rentals, or other event details may result in additional charges.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, proposals and quotes are subject to availability and may expire after the period specified in the proposal.

3. Reservations and Booking

An event is not considered confirmed until all booking requirements established by MF Catering Co. have been completed.

Depending on the event, these requirements may include:

Acceptance of a catering proposal or agreement;
Payment of a deposit or retainer;
Submission of required event information;
Execution of an event or catering agreement; and
Completion of any other requirements communicated by MF Catering Co.

Dates are subject to availability until a reservation has been confirmed.

4. Deposits and Payments

MF Catering Co. may require a deposit or retainer to reserve an event date. The required amount and payment schedule will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or catering agreement.

Remaining balances must be paid according to the payment schedule provided for the event.

We may accept payment through approved payment methods, which may include credit cards, debit cards, electronic payments, or other payment methods made available by MF Catering Co.

Failure to make required payments by their due dates may result in suspension or cancellation of services.

Any applicable taxes, service charges, delivery charges, gratuities, staffing charges, rental fees, processing fees, or other charges will be identified where applicable.

5. Final Guest Count

For catered events, customers may be required to provide a guaranteed final guest count by the deadline specified in their catering agreement or proposal.

Once the final guest count has been submitted, reductions may not result in a reduction of the final amount due.

If the actual number of guests exceeds the guaranteed count, MF Catering Co. will make reasonable efforts to accommodate additional guests but cannot guarantee sufficient food, beverages, equipment, or staffing.

Additional charges may apply for guests exceeding the guaranteed count.

6. Menu Selections and Changes

Menu selections must be finalized by the deadline provided by MF Catering Co.

Requested changes after the deadline are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Certain ingredients, menu items, or products may become unavailable due to supplier availability, seasonal conditions, market conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. When necessary, MF Catering Co. may offer a comparable substitution.

7. Food Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Customers are responsible for notifying MF Catering Co. of known food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special dietary requirements when placing an order or planning an event.

While we may make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests, our food may be prepared in facilities or environments where common allergens are present, including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, sesame, and other allergens.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, MF Catering Co. cannot guarantee that any menu item will be completely free from allergens or cross-contact.

Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies should exercise appropriate caution.

8. Delivery and Pickup

Delivery and pickup times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, venue access, parking, road conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including the correct address, contact person, telephone number, access instructions, and requested delivery time.

Additional charges may apply for:

Extended delivery distances;
Difficult or restricted venue access;
Parking or tolls;
Additional delivery attempts;
Waiting time;
Changes to the delivery address; or
Special delivery requirements.

Customers selecting pickup are responsible for collecting their orders within the agreed pickup period.

9. Venue Access and Event Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring that MF Catering Co. and its personnel have appropriate and timely access to the event venue.

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for obtaining any permissions or approvals required by the venue for catering services.

The customer must disclose relevant venue requirements, including loading restrictions, kitchen limitations, elevator requirements, insurance requirements, security procedures, parking restrictions, and setup or breakdown time limitations.

Additional costs resulting from undisclosed venue requirements may be charged to the customer.

10. Equipment, Rentals, and Property

When MF Catering Co. provides equipment, serving items, linens, displays, utensils, warming equipment, or other rental property, those items remain the property of MF Catering Co. or the applicable rental provider unless otherwise stated.

Customers may be responsible for replacement or repair costs associated with lost, stolen, damaged, or unreturned equipment.

Third-party rental items may also be subject to the rental provider’s terms and conditions.

11. Event Changes

Changes to an event date, location, guest count, service time, menu, or scope of services must be approved by MF Catering Co.

Changes are subject to availability and may require a revised proposal or additional payment.

A request to change an event date does not guarantee that MF Catering Co. will be available on the new date.

12. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the size and nature of the event and will be stated in the customer’s proposal, invoice, or catering agreement.

Deposits, retainers, and other amounts may be non-refundable when specified in the applicable agreement because MF Catering Co. may reserve staff, purchase supplies, decline other bookings, or incur other expenses in preparation for an event.

Any approved refund will be processed according to the applicable agreement and original payment method when reasonably possible.

13. Weather and Force Majeure

MF Catering Co. will not be responsible for a failure or delay in performing services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fires, floods, power outages, government orders, labor disruptions, transportation interruptions, public emergencies, venue closures, supply shortages, or similar events.

When reasonably possible, we will work with the customer to determine an appropriate solution, which may include rescheduling or modifying services.

14. Customer Conduct

Customers and their guests are expected to treat MF Catering Co. employees, contractors, and representatives professionally and respectfully.

MF Catering Co. reserves the right to discontinue service when our personnel reasonably believe that continuing service would expose them or others to unsafe conditions, threats, harassment, violence, illegal activity, or other serious risks.

15. Alcoholic Beverages

If alcoholic beverage service is offered, additional requirements and restrictions may apply.

Alcohol will not knowingly be served to anyone who is under the applicable legal drinking age or when service would violate applicable law.

MF Catering Co. and any authorized beverage-service personnel reserve the right to refuse or discontinue alcohol service when required or permitted by law.

16. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems;
Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology;
Interfere with the operation or security of our website;
Use automated systems to improperly access or scrape our website;
Misrepresent your identity when submitting information; or
Use our website to engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.

We may restrict or terminate access to our website when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

17. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content, including text, graphics, photographs, menus, logos, designs, branding, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to MF Catering Co. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our website for personal and legitimate business inquiries but may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit our protected materials without permission.

18. Third-Party Services

Our website or services may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, delivery providers, event venues, social media platforms, or other service providers.

MF Catering Co. is not responsible for the independent practices, policies, websites, or services of third parties.

19. SMS and Electronic Communications

When you provide your email address or telephone number and provide the applicable consent, MF Catering Co. may communicate with you electronically regarding inquiries, proposals, orders, bookings, deliveries, events, customer service, and other transactions.

If you separately consent to marketing communications, we may also send promotional messages, special offers, discounts, announcements, and other marketing communications.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

For text messages, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Transactional or non-marketing communications may still be sent when permitted by law and necessary to provide services you requested.

20. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also subject to the MF Catering Co. Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any dispute-resolution provisions contained in the customer’s specific catering agreement.

26. Changes to These Terms

MF Catering Co. may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business practices, services, technology, or legal requirements.

When material changes are made, we may update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of our website or services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable proposal, invoice, catering agreement, order terms, or other written agreement, constitute the applicable agreement between you and MF Catering Co. concerning the relevant services.

If a specific signed catering agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the terms of the specific agreement will control with respect to that event or service.
